Historical Romance
Personally, I like Westerns, tales of the American West.
So it should be no surprise that when I take pen in hand
and slip inside the time machine in my mind, I head West
of the Mississippi River.

As Beth Henderson I've taken the trail west in 1849, set
fire to a saloon in San Francisco, solved a murder
mystery in 1880, and had a posse trailing my hero, their
minds on a dandy necktie party...and they weren't
thinking formal dinner party either!

I've also set sail for the Sandwich Isles (better known
today as Hawaii) and took a luxury steamship to England,
so not everything happens in the Old West.

Still it is my favorite setting. Recently I finished
LUCKY
where my characters board the EAST BOUND train in
Nevada and head for Chicago, with an adventure filled
stop in Cheyenne, Wyoming Territory. I'm also
considering a Regency setting and another back in
California during the Gold Rush. So hard to decide
which to do first.

Reckless
Harte Favre didn't want just any
man...she wanted Richard Thorton, a
stranger met one dark, dangerous
night in Virginia City, Nevada.

Thorton knew Harte was trouble.
She wasn't just dangerous. She was
a goddamn gut shot -- slow, painful,
and fatal.
